Hi there, Drew! Your logo draft is very inspiring, keep up the good work on it! My first critical suggestion is to maybe try out some brighter colors in your design! I think it would make your logo stand out a lot more. Since your logo has to do with a sport, you want to be known as radiant and energy. My second critique suggestion is to change the jersey color of one of the players, that way it can show opponents and a challenge, and the soccer ball could be something like a trophy or a medal since the soccer ball is already the bottom half of the logo. I think your design is really strong in detail! You’re detail is outstanding and very creative because you made the logo to be like a soccer ball and used many shapes to create this design and the people in it.

I feel I have made a good start on my project although, I know it has more potential. I started out going for a half ball half logo design like my sketch. I breezed through my sketch but when it came to using illustrator, I struggled to make my design come together the way I saw it in my head. I look to fix some of the pieces to make it flusher and more professional. My next focus will be on changing some of the color schemes. Natalia brought up a great point that my colors aren’t as bold as they could be, and I agree with that. I will work over the next few days to make sure my log can come out the other end the best it can be

Hello, there Drew. Excellent job putting together your logo. I can clearly see the great amount of effort you put forward for thinking of a color scheme and design which obviously supports your passion and project. Since we were tasked with using vector shapes only, it does show a bit in your logo the limitations of what you were able to accomplish with only so many tools to use. The bottom half of your logo represents a soccer ball, the most iconic part of soccer. Your top, however, represents a trophy and two players, which can be easily connected to the title of your company or group as a coaching association. What you might be able to do better is perhaps a change in color for the soccer ball’s creases. Without context or reasoning, I do not understand why the creases have the colors they do and would much better understand a simple black and white ball.
